This is what I've been doing over the weekend.
I made pictures pillows for my two sons, my daughter and one for myself. This is a really easy project and it only takes about an hour-start to finish. My coworker showed me how to make these pillows, but you can find the instructions here. I decided this project would be a good project for my beginning sewing class, but I needed to try it out first. More examples:
